Third Annual Belleville Main Street Marathon

Road Runners Club of America State Championship Event!
TIME: The marathon begins at 7 AM, and course support ends at 2 PM.
COURSE: This certified, Boston Marathon qualifying course starts and finishes around West Main and First Streets in historic downtown Belleville, IL, about 30 minutes from downtown St. Louis. About half the course is on America’s longest Main Street and the other half is on portions of the paved Richland Creek Greenway Trail, paved MetroLink Bike Trail, and neighborhood roads. Ample hydration and fueling stations as well as enthusiastic volunteers cheering you on will be located throughout the race course.
ENTRY FEES: Early bird entry fee is $49.99 through December 31, 2017. Registration January 1 to August 15, 2018, is $65; after August 15 is $75; and after September 15 is $85. Entry fees are nonrefundable. Race will be held rain or shine.
AWARDS: The top 3 overall male and female finishers; top male and female master finishers; and top male and female wheelchair finishers will receive awards as will the top 3 male and female finishers in each of the following age divisions: 18-19; 20-24; 25-29; 30-34; 35-39; 40-44; 45-49; 50-54; 55-59; 60-64; 65-69; and 70 & older. Bonus awards for the 2018 race only, which is an RRCA State Championship Event: top overall, master, grandmaster, and senior grandmater male and female winners will receive an RRCA championship medal!
All finishers will receive a participant medal. Due to liability and safety issues, the age limit requirement of being 18 or older will be strictly enforced.
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION: The post-race party includes food, beverages, music, and an awards ceremony. Parking to the start/finish line is free and extremely convenient, and professional finish line photos are available for purchase. In addition, Belleville is close to 2 airports (MidAmerica Airport in Belleville and St. Louis Lambert International Airport), and nearby lodging is availabe.
PACKET PICKUP: 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. on Friday, Sept. 28, Toolen’s Running Start, 3260 Green Mount Crossing Dr., Shiloh, IL 62269, and 5:30 to 6:30 a.m., Saturday, Sept. 29, at First and Main Streets in Belleville, near the start line.
